I spent today at my Mother's 80th birthday party... with 175 of her family & friends, there were people there who I've known (well) at an earlier age and have drifted away from because of distance, age & too much activity. Most of the time was spent catching up with their family histories and after the day I have to agree with the article below
We Don’t Know How Good We Have It
Sometimes we need to stop and think about about how good we have it. We tend to complain about this thing and that thing, but we don't think about the luxuries we have.

I got to thinking the other day about living somewhere other than here in the United States. After thinking about it for awhile I decided that most of us don't know how good we have it.
What We Have
For the vast majority of Americans, we don't have any idea how good we have it. I was watching a television show about people living in Afghanistan and it got me to thinking. When I'm hungry, I don't have to kill my food or harvest anything unless I want to |
