Over at Read/WriteWeb Richard MacManus has highlighted 10 Semantic Web Apps to Watch and included AdaptiveBlue in the list.

Richard leads with a good definition of Semantic Apps: “A key element is that Semantic Apps all try to determine the meaning of text and other data, and then create connections for users… Nova Spivack of Twine, noted that data portability and connectibility are keys to these new semantic apps - i.e. using the Web as platform.”

It’s an interesting list that’s peppered with new, exciting companies. Startups like Twine, TripIt, Spock, ClearForest, and of coure AdaptiveBlue are emerging and using “Semantic Web and Web 2.0 technologies to create new semantic applications.”
